Waste management companies IESI-BFC and Waste Services to merge in $388M deal

A merger between Toronto's IESI-BFC Ltd. (TSX:BIN) and Burlington, Ont.-based Waste Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:WSII) will create the third-largest waste management outfit in North America and save an expected US$30 million in its first two years, the companies say.
